Over the weekend and the first part of next week, we are going to be receiving some East Coast Halibut out of Yarmouth Nova Scotia, Canada. Look for some good quantities and some lower prices.

Another great item that we haven’t seen in some time is Wahoo from Fiji. We have a good shipment arriving and it makes a great grilling item for this weekend.

Tuna and Swordfish have been in great supply. The quality is terrific and we expect it to stay that way into next week including our beautiful Bluefin Tuna and Harpoon Swordfish arriving from Canada. The quality is superb.

We were a little skeptical about the Wild Salmon market. It seems that we will see limited amounts of Kings coming in over the weekend but we have plenty of Sockeye, Keta and Coho.

We were able to secure some Scamp Grouper. These are headshot fish out of South Carolina. We order some graded above 5 pounds so if you are looking for some sushi quality Scamp Grouper we have some good supply.

Pompano is in good supply and we have another shipment arriving today.

Due to the after effects of Irene, we will not see many Bluepoint Oysters. The grounds in the Northeast were closed and have not been re-opened for harvesting.

We do expect good supply of Clams out of Virginia but some of the Oyster harvesting could be an issue.

As this report is being written, North Carolina remains closed until the testing results return. We have been able to supplement with West Coast Shellfish out of Washington State as well as Gulf production. Please get your orders in while quantities last.

Scallop boats are getting back out so we can expect some good quantities by the middle of next week. Prices will probably remain high but supply should be abundant.
